House for the masses?

I just got season one of House for christmas, and I've been watching since the beginning. My girlfriend has fallen in love with House too. Sometimes the episodes let me down, but they set the other episodes up. I just wish it wouldn't get interrupted by sports every other week.

It is a very good series and I really enjoy it. Hugh Laurie (not sure on the spelling) is from the UK and it really freaked me out the first time I heard him talk in an English accent.

I stopped watching it. After a few episodes a patternwas established. Someone checks in with something obscure and complicated, House isn't interested and has to be tricked/talked into seeing the patient, he gets the diagnosis wrong a few times, at least one of the supporting staff breaks into the patients house to take samples, a treatment nearly kills the patient and is stopped just in the nick of time, and House finally triumphs. The only thing the series has going for it is Hugh Laurie.

Synthia, that pattern is definitely gone by now. It's really only dead-on accurate for the first season.
