LOTR for me too. I wish they would make a trilogy of Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks, that would be a huge winner at the box office!

Star Wars Episodes IV, V, and VI. In other words, the ones we saw first. It's hard, I think, to sustain a movie series over even three movies. Actually, it seems to be pretty hard to sustain quality for a sequel.
Probably the best, as opposed to my favorite, is the Godfather series. One quality picture after another.

Has to be Lord of the Rings. Its too good in all aspects of filmmaking, be it the camerawork, the locations, the sets, the acting, music, animation...and most of all, the direction. The third part of the trilogy especially is near perfect in all these aspects.

The Saw trilogy for me. It's got a lot of gore but also has a great storyline.

Mine got to be the Die Hard series. I just love how bad guys can get so organize and be defeated by one cool cop. I like the last series the most. Then it is LOTR. The graphics are just so nice.

Going to have to loyally go with the Original Trilogy of Star Wars. Sheesh, without it I wouldn't have around five hundred dollars spent on assorted Star Wars literature set after the movies. And that would be the saddest world of all.
