The New James Bond Movie

I really did not enjoy it very much    I was really expecting to love it because it got such great reviews and the idea of Bond before he became 007 sounded very intresting.  I had all kinds of reasons for disliking it during and just after the movie but can't remember any of them now.  I guess I just expected too much.

Agree with you fireshark. There was a lot of advertising for the movie. Though the movie was good but not that good as it should be. But I really enjoyed some scenes specially when he was being tortured :lol:

I think the movie is called Casino Royale right?
I didn't like it .... It seems that the actor doesn't fit the "bond" type.

I didn't mind the actor, but it seemed like the script was off.  It's like they're going too far out of the way to update the James Bond character.  I love the old James Bond movies and maybe they should just end the series and write a script with (hey, here's an idea) a new and original character.

Well, I thought the film was a great relaunch of the series. The past few films had been nothing but disappointments for me. I agree that the script could have been better, but it still wasn't THAT bad. It was still an entertaining film and Daniel Craig as Bond was great. The dialogue was dry, but it generally is in Bond films.

I happened to enjoy the movie. I dunno, I went in there with a detatched attitude. I wasn't expecting a Bond film, I was expecting a film with Bond in it. If you follow me. I thought it was better than the last one that came out, which let me down.
Heh. Actually the biggest reason I went, was to listen to the theme song, sung by Chris Cornell (my idol).

Last James Bond movie is Quantum of Solace.Personally I didnt like this movie at all.The main fact is when you are going to watch a James Bond at that time your expectation will be much more from that particular movie.I am sorry to say that last movie really fulfill my expectation.

I think James bond is the most successful series yet in Hollywood but I seen the only one and that was Casino Royal, it was good and really worth watching.
