Howdy all!
I've just got a Nintendo Wii a few days ago, and I must say, it's quite amazing! I'm really supprised at how responsive the controller is. It's really something special. If anyone was considering buying one, now is the time! And no, I don't work for Nintendo; Haha. I picked up Zelda and the bundled Wii sports. All of the games are great, bar boxing, which is slightly poor. Zelda is truely amazing, and I beleive it's possibly the best game I've ever played!
Merry Christmas, KieranG

From what I remember playing Zelda years and years ago is that there is a lot of walking and searching for stuff. Does the cool controlers only really work when fighting stuff? And even the aren't you just swinging the sword and it hits the same as it would have if you pressed a button?

I am still waiting for it to come to my country (I am not sure if it is available yet). It is quite costly and I am planning to buy it by the mid of new year. I really liked the new technology. Bored of this graphical stuff

That fact is what continues to embarrass Nintendo. Its really a mater of how long it takes for the word to get out to everyone.

How did you guys get your Wii systems? Did you have to wait in line?
I'd love to get my hands on one, but I guess I'll be waiting a while.

I wish I had one too. Just for Zelda: Twilight Princess! I love all the Zelda games and have beaten them all thus far except Zelda: TP because I don't have it. If I don't get a Wii soon, I'm going to just have to buy it for Gamecube :-P

Even if they did, Nintendo sent out plenty compared the sony who only gave what 30 machines to every store...?

Not that they could anyway, they were way behind in production I heard. I heard most stores were getting around ten PS3's, pretty bad.

The only reason I would even ever think about getting a Wii is because of the cool remote where it lets you basicly in the game.

I was going to get one for Christmas but almost every store here in Sydney had sold out. Apparently I'll have to wait until long after New Years for a fresh batch of Wii's to arrive too.
