Money talks, but can it also follow your movements?

In a U.S. government warning high on the creepiness scale, the Defense Department cautioned its American contractors over what it described as a new espionage threat: Canadian coins with tiny radio frequency transmitters hidden inside.

The government said the mysterious coins were found planted on U.S. contractors with classified security clearances on at least three separate occasions between October 2005 and January 2006 as the contractors traveled through Canada.

I am Canadian and I find it hard to believe that Canadians are behind this.  Maybe it is for a news story of some sort or maybe a terrorist cell within Canada.

i also find it hard to believe that canadians would have used their own coin brand, but i am sure that they are spying on americans using a lot of other ingenious methods.
You can not rely on your neighbour nowadays, so this is a good thing, the canadians can sleep better.

Lmao spy coins.

This is just a myth.

Canada has no reason to spy on the US...if they have spy coins, the coins will just end up in someone's wallet.
