US's treatment of Saddam made me the most angry. Bombings in Indian cities and the performance of India in the cricket world.

Yeah... you MUST be kidding. You don't think he deserved what he got? Oh yeah, what we should have done was release him and let him kill more innocent people. That's a brilliant idea!

I do agree that Saddam had to be punished for his heinous crimes. But remember, he was a head of state, and for whatever he was, heads of sates, once they are captured alive should either be sent in exile or serve their life in jail according to the geneva convention. You cannot just hang him like that.

And trust me, the way they are showing his execution on tv, he is sure to become a martyr and a motivation force for more terrorist attacks.

If he had been tried in a US court, then the Geneva conventions would have applied.  But he was tried in his own country, and the Geneva Conventions have nothing to do with it.  There have been quite a few countries that have executed former leaders.

I don't think there is anything that could have been done to keep him from being made a martyr.

Ok, what made me angry the most is the earthquake that hit Taiwan. This have cause my Internet connection to come to less than dial up speed. It turns out that a lot of fiber cables were cut and im stuck with crawling speed. It made me angry because i just realize how much im addicted to the Internet and how much i need broadband connection.

^ Try losing the internet altogether for a week. It really wasn't fun.  Tongue

Nothing really made me angry in 2006 - it was actually a pretty happy year.

That we re-elected the Shrub.  Made me angry last year, too.  I'll be angry this year.  And next.

The Iraqi's mishandling of Saddam's case. He would have still been executed if it had been in an American court, but at least the trial would have been fair. The thing is though, that's he guilty. You can't fight that.t
