Tom Hanks has made so many good movies, but what's your favorite?

Mine, I think, would be Philadelphia

I'm going to have to go with Apollo 13. Not just because Hanks is in it, but it's just a pretty great film. Plus, space travel and such is just a huge interest of mine. I find it fascinating.

It has to be "The Terminal". He was so cute in that, and the movie was awesome; shot totally inside an airport!

This is a great topic for a thread Smiley

Castaway, partly because he was the whole movie.  For most of the movie he was the only actor.  There weren't even any extras to add atmosphere, there was no one for his character to talk to but Wilson, and Wilson couldn't really conduct a conversation.  I thought it was an amazing performance, as well as being an absorbing movie.

Oh, I'd forgotten Big.  Maybe,...no, still Castaway.  But Big would be second.  He's really had quite an amazing career.
