I was just wondering if anyone went to go see Snakes on a Plane. I thought that was probably the biggest joke the box office has played on us yet, and proves that people's curiousity is worth millions, but was it actually worth watching?

They totally lost the huge percentage of the population that can't stand snakes.  Including me.

I saw an interview where Samuel L. Jackson said he decided to do the movie partly because it would be one that every 8-year-old in the world would want to see.  I'm female, but at eight, I would have gone.  The fear of snakes would have been an extra, making it more creepy.

Then the director believed the internet hype and added scenes thtat got the rating changed so 8-year-olds couldn't go to see it.  He deliberately chose to eliminate his target audience.  One of the dumbest marketing moves I've ever seen.

I think the whole, "every kid would go" was a bit far-reaching.  My son is 6 and my daughter 10 and when the movie came out they had heard of it but thought it looked stupid.  I think they basically hyped a movie that had a really dumb premise.  They would have done much better making a re-make of "The Blob".

They released it in shows on the Thursday before it's release @ 10:00 PM. I saw it then, and it was crazy! It was the most fun I've had in theatres in a long time. The crowd was totally into it. I love movies like that.

Never saw it. The whole plot seems all to stupid.

I loved the spoofs on youtube though. Those where hilarious.

I saw it a few months ago and thought it was fantastic. Depending on your tolerance of snakes and some gore, it's one of those movies where you can really get stuck into the plot. There's lots of jump-out-of-your seat moments so I was on edge the whole way through.

Unlike many I thought it was one of the better movies of 2006.

Sankes on a plane had nothing but some badly animated snakes. i like horror, thriller movies and i think the upcoming movie PRIEST would be good.I would Download Priest Movie and watch at home.
